Establishing a new medical school involves a multitude of critical decisions. At the onset of launching an entirely new four-year medical education program, the Office of Medical Education, in partnership with faculty at the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine (OUWB), embraced the pivotal task of shaping the school’s education tech stack. They opted to use Moodle as their Learning Management System (LMS) and Panopto for lecture capture, but soon realized they needed a tool that could readily scan and query all of the content being housed in the LMS.
